The purpose of installing the signal butterfly valve at the front end of the water flow indicator of the floor level main pipe is to:

1. When the floor spray system needs maintenance, close the signal butterfly valve, open the terminal to discharge water, and empty the water in the floor spray system for maintenance.
2. Because the sprinkler system cannot be without water, when the signal butterfly valve is closed, a signal will be transmitted to the fire alarm system. After the fire alarm system receives this monitoring signal, it will prompt whether the fire sprinkler system on this floor is in In an anhydrous state, once it is found that there is no water, the maintenance personnel quickly respond to maintenance.

The purpose of installing the signal butterfly valve at the front end of the main trunk wet alarm valve is very similar to that of installing the signal butterfly valve at the front end of the water flow indicator of the floor level main pipe. The first is for maintenance; repair.
Characteristics of signal butterfly valve
The signal butterfly valve is driven by the turbine worm drive to rotate the shaft and the butterfly plate to open and close and control the flow. There are two forms of micro-switches in the turbine worm gear box:

1. There are two micro switches for opening and closing in the transmission box, which act respectively when the valve is fully opened and closed, and turn on the light source of "valve open" and "valve close" in the control room to make it accurate Display valve switch status.
2. There is a closing micro switch in the transmission box (the full closing position of the butterfly plate is 0°). When the butterfly plate is in the position of 0° to 40°, the micro switch is actuated to output the valve closing signal. At 90° position, another pair of normally closed can output valve opening signal. The cam of the micro-switch can be adjusted to display the different positions of the butterfly plate.
