What material is the corrosion-resistant butterfly valve

Posted by Bundor valve
Question: Hello, I would like to ask, what material should the butterfly valve be used in the pipeline with corrosive medium? What material is the corrosion-resistant butterfly valve made of?
Bundor valve: The butterfly valve should be installed on the pipeline of corrosive medium, and the selected material must be able to prevent corrosion. At this time, we need to use polytetrafluoroethylene as a material in the following situations:
Slightly corrosive medium: The body of the butterfly valve can be made of cast steel, the butterfly disc is made of stainless steel, and the valve seat is made of PTFE.

Severely corrosive medium: full-lined fluorine butterfly valve is required, the valve body is made of cast steel, the butterfly disc is made of stainless steel and wrapped with PTFE, and the valve seat is made of PTFE.
If the external environment of the butterfly valve also needs to be anti-corrosion or anti-rust, the valve body needs to be made of stainless steel, and the selection of the butterfly disc and valve seat is the same as above.
