The fire pump should adopt the self-irrigation type water absorption pump, when the fire pump draws water directly from the municipal pipe network, a backflow preventer with air partition function should be set on the water outlet pipe of the fire pump.

Fire water generally use municipal water supply pipe network, pipeline use pressure water pipeline, valve use gate valve, globe valve, butterfly valve, check valve, filter, safety valve, etc., also can use reverse flow preventer, pipeline connection is the most used flange and groove pipe connection. High level fire water tank should be set when the floor is high; The potential fire water consumption is large and the outlet pressure is high.
