Advantages of electric globe valve:
Once the electric globe valve is in the open state, there is no contact between its seat and disc sealing surface, so its sealing surface mechanical wear is small.Since the seats and discs of most electric globe valves are relatively easy to repair or replace the potted component without removing the entire valve from the line,this is suitable for occasions where the valve and line are welded together.The most obvious advantage is:In the process of opening and closing,because the friction between the disc and the body sealing surface is less than that of the gate valve, it is abrasion resistant.The opening height is generally only 1/4 of the diameter of the seat channel,so it is much smaller than the gate valve.Usually there is only one sealing surface on the valve body and disc, so the manufacturability of manufacturing is good and easy to maintain.The flow direction of the medium through this valve has changed, so the flow resistance of the electric globe valve is higher than that of other valves.

Commonly used electric globe valves are electric straight through globe valve, electric throttle valve, electric angle type globe valve, electric straight flow globe valve, electric plunger globe valve and so on.
1.Angle type electric globe valve:In an angle type electric globe valve,the fluid only has to change direction once,so that the pressure through this valve will be less than that of a conventional electric globe valve.
2.Straight flow electric globe valve:The flow path of a straight or Y-shaped electric globe valve body is diagonal to the main flow,in this way, the damage degree of the flow state is smaller than that of the conventional electric globe valve, and the pressure loss through the valve is correspondingly smaller.
3.Plunger type electric globe valve:This form of electric globe valve is a variation of the conventional electric globe valve.In this valve, the disc and seat are usually designed based on the plunger principle.The disc is polished into a plunger connected to the stem, and the seal is achieved by two elastic sealing rings on the plunger.The two elastic sealing rings are separated by a lantern ring,and the sealing ring around the plunger is pressed by loads applied to the bonnet by the bonnet stud nut.
