Advantages of soft seal gate valve

Traditional gate valves often have leakage and corrosion. In order to overcome this defect, the soft seal gate valve appears. As a new product of the traditional gate valve, the soft seal gate valve overcomes the shortcomings of poor sealing performance, poor elasticity and easy to be rusted of the general gate valve.
The soft seal gate valve uses the elastic rubber wrapped gate, which can produce the effect of micro deformation compensation by using the elasticity of rubber, so that the valve can achieve good sealing effect. The advantages of soft seal gate valve are as follows:
1. The gate is covered with glue
High quality rubber is used to pack the gate of soft seal gate valve tightly, which improves the sealing performance and is not easy to fall off

2. The valve body is not easy to rust and corrosion resistant
The valve body of soft seal gate valve coated with powder epoxy resin can effectively resist oxidation and rust, and can also prevent the valve body from corrosion. Soft seal gate valve is often used in sewage treatment system.

3. The valve seat adopts flat bottom design
There is usually a groove at the bottom of the valve seat of traditional gate valve. When the medium in the pipeline flows through the valve, the impurities and particles contained in the medium will precipitate and deposit in the groove at the bottom, so that the valve cannot be closed tightly, resulting in leakage and accidents. The bottom of the valve seat of the soft seal gate valve is designed with flat bottom, without groove. After the medium in the pipeline flows through, there will be no accumulation of impurity particles. The sealing performance of the valve is guaranteed and avoid leakage.

4.The valve body is made of precision casting
The valve body of the soft seal gate valve is made of precision casting, with accurate size. No further finishing is needed inside the valve body, and the tightness of the valve body is guaranteed.

5. The valve body is made of ductile iron with light weight
The soft seal gate valve uses ductile iron as the valve body material. The overall weight of the valve is 20% - 30% lighter than the traditional gate valve. The lighter weight makes the soft seal gate valve more convenient for installation and maintenance.

6. The inside of the valve body is not easy to be corroded
 The inner part of the soft seal gate valve body is coated with non-toxic epoxy resin, and the gate is completely wrapped by rubber, which can effectively prevent the inner part of the valve body from being corroded by the medium in the pipeline.

7. Sealing ring designed of three "O" type
The stem with sealing ring designed of three "O" type greatly reduces the friction resistance of the soft seal gate valve when it is closed. The sealing performance is reliable and there is no water leakage anymore; the unique design structure also enables the "O" type sealing ring to be replaced under pressure and maintenance free.
